Reflective Roof Rebates Database Made Public
The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) recently made its Reflective Roof Rebates Database available to the general public—and that’s great news for all painting contractors who work with roof coatings.
Originally created exclusively for use by RCMA members, the database makes it possible for contractors to search for available reflective roof incentives across the country.
John Ferraro, RCMA’s executive director, says the database is a great resource for contractors who are working with customers looking to go green on a project.
“Using the information found in the database, contractors can recommend a simple, green, sustainable solution that saves building owners and facility managers money, and can meet, satisfy, or contribute to EPA ENERGY STAR, Title 24, LEED, and other green-rating system requirements.”
The database includes a comprehensive list of rebates, loans, grants, and tax credits pertaining to reflective roof coatings applied to low-slope and steep-slope roofs. The database covers the nation including state, local, and utility company rebate programs, and uses a customized search tool to find the most up-to-date listings available for installing reflective roofs.
The search tool also offers filtered results by energy rebates, reflective roof rebates, or all available rebates within a specific state or zip code. Detailed information on each of the available incentive programs including eligibility, links to supporting documents, key program contacts, and online rebate applications is readily accessible in the database.
All data is presented in an easy-to-review format that can be shared with customers to ensure they understand all the rebates and options available to them.
